All Members of Protect and Defend are required to volunteer at an event or function at least once a year. This allows our membership to continue its involvement and network with each other. As Protect and Defend expands, we hope to do community forums for gay, lesbian student alliances at colleges and universities and have an open invitation to the community and membership for new ideas on how Protect and Defend can get involved in communities statewide. We hope that you take pride in your organization and the profession you represent. Members who do not partake in any involvement during a whole year of membership will not be allowed to renew.

Protect and Defend has donated over $12,000 to charities nationwide!

Protect and Defend is a non-profit LGBT support organization that is here to support public safety, military and fire/ems officials from throughout the world.  Everyone knows someone in one of these professions.  If you have found our site and want to refer a member, please do so.  If you are a supporter of these professions and you would like to meet some of our membership and become a supporter, please follow up on our website which is updated on a weekly basis.  We have public and private events, we donate to LGBT Charities nationally and always contribute to communities that we have events in.  If you would like to contact us directly, have a fundraising idea or even a question about our organization, we value our partnership with all communities.
